 Ways to help
People have been asking us how they can help since we announced our big news! We decided we should have a section to tell you exactly what kind of help we are in need of. Check back often as this list will grow! It's is very humbling to ask for help. We wish we were in a position where we didn't have to, but the reality is it is going to take a village to bring our little boy home. Thank you for helping us make our dream come true.
- Prayer. We need prayer for our patience and that this path will not be too winding. We need prayer that we can get Yarik back very soon. Pray that Yarik knows we are trying to get to him and that he has not been abandoned. Pray that we can raise this money and that the paperwork goes through without any problems. Most importantly we need prayer that the extension of our family will be blessed and we will all be happy.
- Spread the word! If every person we know tells 5 people we don't know and they all help a little, raising $30,000 will be no problem! Share our website and our story widely, openly and often. We aren't shy!
- Donations. We are humbly accepting any donation that is offered. Financial donations as little as a $1 will help when they add up. We also need donated items for our silent auctions event. Memorabilia, Services offered, Electronics, Homemade items, Gift Wares, Gift certificates, Goodie Baskets and anything else you can think of will be accepted! Larger items will go into the Silent auction or Single ticket raffle, smaller items will go on the raffle table. Every item helps us get to our goal.
- Volunteers. We are going to need a lot of people to help man tables at the silent auction, at the garage sale and at any other event we do. Please let us know if you are willing and able to be a helper at our fundraising events.
- Garage Sale items and hall. We would like to put on a large garage sale... one problem. We don't have a garage. If you have a garage you would like to donate as a drop off center or if you know of a clubhouse our warehouse that would donate the space for a week so we can get organized, that would be great! We will also be asking that you search your home for those household gems, toys, clothing, furniture, and anything you don't use anymore to contribute to the sale.
- Additional Fundraisers. If you have the means to set up a fundraiser for us, by all means you have our permission! If your place of employment would like to start up a collection, your job wants to host a fundraising night, you know a venue you could ask on our behalf to host an event, whatever it may be or if you just have an idea of a way we can raise some money, all are accepted and appreciated.
- Paper Crafters. We would like to put on a scrap-a-thon where crafters of all kinds to come for a full day for some well needed paper crafting! We can have stampers, scrappers, quillers, etc, pretty much any type of paper craft. We would also like to have some vendors to sell supplies! If you would like to attend, help organize or be a vendor, please let us know!
- Prayer. Did I mention prayer yet? Well, it's worth mentioning twice!
